The Mission of the CFC is to support and promote philanthropy through a voluntary program that is employee focused, cost efficient, and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

The 2008 Southeastern Michigan Area Combined Federal Campaign raised $3,042,000 to support the efforts of the charities important to Federal employees in the region. Because SEMI Area CFC strives to manage donor dollars efficiently and to cut costs wherever possible, nearly 93 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to the charities.
